ZARDOZ SPEAKS TO YOU, HIS CHOSEN ONES. WE HERE AT GLIBERTARIANS ARE FULLY DEVOTED DEFENDERS OF THE RIGHT TO SAY, THINK, WRITE AND PUBLISH ANYTHING WITHOUT GOVERNMENT INTERFERENCE OR PRIOR RESTRAINT. RECENTLY, WE CELEBRATED WHAT WE THOUGHT WAS A BIG WIN FOR THE RIGHT OF FREE SPEECH IN AMERICA. THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT VOLUNTARILY SETTLED A LAWSUIT WITH DEFENSE DISTRIBUTED AND CODY WILSON, REGARDING THE PUBLICATION OF SPECIFICATIONS FOR MANUFACTURING HANDGUNS ON VARIOUS TYPES OF COMPUTER CONTROLLED MACHINERY AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. TODAY, AUGUST 1ST, WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE DAY THAT ALL OF THESE FILES WERE ONCE AGAIN AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC. HOWEVER, VARIOUS STATES AND LOCALITIES HAVE HAD FEDERAL JUDGES ENJOIN THIS BY EMERGENCY ORDER. WE DO NOT SUPPORT ANY SUCH RESTRICTIONS. IT IS THE CASE TODAY THAT PEOPLE PROHIBITED FROM POSSESSING A GUN BREAK THE LAW IN ORDER TO POSSESS A GUN. THEY CAN GO TO YOUTUBE RIGHT NOW AND WATCH “HOW TO” VIDEOS OF PEOPLE BUILDING GUNS WITH A DRILL PRESS, A HAMMER, AND AN ANVIL.
IN SUPPORT OF DEFENSE DISTRIBUTED’S NOBLE WORK OF EMPOWERING CITIZENS TO BUILD AND POSSESS THE TOOLS TO FIGHT AGAINST UNJUST FORCE, OF ANY TYPE, WE PROUDLY FEATURE THIS LINK TO THE FILES. ZARDOZ BRINGS YOU THE GIFT OF THE GUN! CLICK HERE TO GET THEM FROM AN END TO END ENCRYPTED SITE.
THIS ACT IS PART OF THE REASON GLIBERTARIANS WAS CREATED, AND IS STILL HERE.
ZARDOZ HAS SPOKEN.
One more project for amateur gunsmithing, on the way.
Next up- files to make your own woodchipper.
Here you go. Along with everything else…

Ok, the chipper is still in “planning stage”, but they’re working on it.
Brett L said this will be covered in the evening links. I find it bad manners of ZARDOZ to steal the idea…
ZARDOZ SPEAKS TO HIS CHOSEN ONE. ONLY ZARDOZ MAY GIVE THE GIFT OF THE GUN! ZARDOZ WILL CLEANSE ANY BRUTAL WHO TRIES TO USURP HIM! ZARDOZ HAS SPOKEN.
Can you really trust Florida Man to do it right?
I’m not going to download them, but I will have fun telling people freaking out over this that I have and that I’ve already printed like 13 assault pistols.
with grenade launcher attachments.
As long as you aren’t printing plastic straws. That would get you in REAL trouble.
Assault straws?
Do they have the black bendy straws with the part that goes up?
I just downloaded and printed a 3D assault gun with a high capacity bendy straw clip that goes up and chainsaw attachment. It can deny birth control coverage at 50 Sandra Flukes per second.
Cold, dead fingers, bitches. GET SOME.
As long as we’re misbehaving.
Hat tip to jesse.in.mb
Can you print me a sandwich while you’re at it?
Ahem. The correct code is “SUDO make ma a sandwich“
I assume that everyone here is using at least one layer of VPN at all times. Right?
Always double wrap, tap, and VPN. This is just common sense.
“oh baby I like it raw”- old dirty bastard
I like to feel their genital warts against my skin.
No, because I’m stupid & lazy.
Why even bother? It’s not like the NSA cannot get everything you’re posting anyone and link you to who posted it, no matter what you’re using. This is why I don’t talk about certain things online, except for maybe joking. Not that I have anything to hide.

Hail Zardoz. We Brutals thank you for your gift of the gun!
Aside from French, has a single journalist focused on the 1A implications of yesterday’s ruling? Many gloss over it in their smug cavalier manner.
No. Court cases are typically covered merely as matters of policy with the legal merits of cases ignored, particularly when they don’t go the way that the media wants.
There isn’t enough scorn to be heaped on the Seattle judge who decided that ruled there was enough merit in the case of the 8 Democratic AG’s suit to proceed. They have absolutely no grounds for their case.
Then to issue a nationwide injunction, yet again, based on those flimsy arguments. It’s a complete abuse of judicial power and so shortsighted that it goes well beyond the first or even second amendment issues people are discussing.
Especially since Cody had already sued the govt and won
There is a special place in heaven reserved for the good judge.
And throwing him into a wood-chipper to help him get there would be completely inappropriate, right?
Yeah, we’ve got to do something about judges issuing injunctions against either (a) people who aren’t subject to their jurisdiction or (b) that have effect outside their jurisdiction.
I thought woodchippers are the de rigeur solution?
Only if they’re 3D printed
Journalists haven’t given a shit about the first amendment for quite some time now, unless you count despising it as caring.
I dont get the freak-out over plastic guns. They are completely useless. Building an effective gun is quite easy to do without a 3D printer. It is also not so difficult to just buy one. Ghost guns my ass. The vast majority of gun serial numbers are not recorded anywhere other than the frame of the gun. They are next to useless.
They are going to lose this one on first amendment grounds.
The vast majority of gun serial numbers are not recorded anywhere other than the frame of the gun
One of my co-workers was astounded to learn this
Gun manufacturers keep records of what serial numbers were manufactured when, that is about it. Hell, I have a single barrel 410 that belonged to my great grandmother. No serial at all.
I just remembered; was it California that wanted to make it law that all bullets be stamped with a serial number? When it was pointed out that that would be impossible the ssc ruled that that does not make the law invalid.
I think it was
Can’t argue with that logic:
Sure, it’s impossible, but you still have to do it.
Actually that sounds like gun control logic in a nut shell
I watched a sitting Senator voice his concern to Pompeo a few days ago that Hamas would be able to get these plans and begin printing AR-15s. It’s a post facts world now.
Because they are unable to get weapons now?
Well, Clinton and Obama are out of office.
Fair point
Said Senator was less concerned, as in completely not interested or even at all curious, about how delivering piles of cash on pallets to Iran would increase the chances of Hamas getting its hands on weapons more dangerous that AR-15’s.
“So, Senator, how many AR-15s would the $2BB in cold hard cash that Obama sent to the Iranians buy?”
Hey now,
the plastic required to print an AR-15 is expensive.
Don’t you pay attention?
That was Iran’s money in the first place and President Obama was just being a great diplomat.
I figured it was the Shah’s stash that probably came from US taxpayers. What a fucking shitweasel Obama is.
No doubt, besides with the access they have to AKs what would they want with an AR?
Oh, there we go. Let’s throw that bomb and get /that/ conversation going.
I prefer the AR platform because of it’s modular nature. I can configure an AR lower to fire anything from 22LR up to 50 Beowulf.
556, 300blk, and something big for no reason. Beowolf would be up there. Or maybe a socom round.
I have 556, 224, and 300 blk. Maybe one day a thumper.
I can also hit something further away than 100M with an AR.
From the comparison of AK, AR and Mosin:
AK – “You can hit the broad side of the barn everytime, when standing inside the barn”.
I prefer AKs but a I’m not prejudiced against a good AR. I mostly like that a good AK will eat cheap Russian steel cased ammunition all day long without a problem.
Hamas would be able to get these plans and begin printing AR-15s.
I saw that. It is patently false, but I’d imagine USAToday ran with it.

It’s unclear how the temporary order can be enforced. The plans were already placed online days ago and downloaded thousands of times and posted online elsewhere.

All I can say is Good luck with that
The genie is out of the bottle, but it isn’t about actually stopping it or enforcing any ban. Or the actual law. It’s about political showmanship. It’s an election year and the Dems think this is a winner. A clear case when advocates for the second amendment have gone too far for most voters. They want to keep the story going no matter how stupidly and irresponsibly they have to behave themselves to make it happen.
It certainly doesn’t help our case when “advocates” of the 2d Amendment get all wishy-washy when talking about this
A lot of people, particularly politicians, are wishy washy on rights. I’m surprised they didn’t rush out poll data showing that some 80% of Americans or whatever oppose letting people print their own guns. I guess they want their smear campaign to be in full gear first.
The 10th amendment case being put forward to stop this right now – I’m going to keep beating this drum – it’s blue states basically saying that they have the right to enforce their laws and regulations on every other state. Environmental regs? Labor regs? Tax laws? Why the fuck not! There is no rational argument that the injunction is preventing an imminent and irreparable threat, but it sure as shit is an imminent and irreparable threat in itself. The legal arguments being presented are that absurd.
It’s always that way with pinkos. Participation is mandatory for everyone.
It was one of Tony’s favorite arguments: “your freedom infringes our right to force each other to pay for our medical care!”
It’s also completely irrelevant because the 10th does not override the 1st or the 2nd. As I said in morning lynx, those rights apply to all citizens superseding any state or local restrictions. Of course, that doesn’t stop states, judges, assorted slavers et. al. from making laws that usurp those rights anyway, but making a 10A argument against this is pure legal retardation.
There have been a few go a flip floppy on this.
“the Dems think this is a winner.”
They also think denigrating voters, raising taxes, tranny bathrooms, state healthcare, gun confiscation…..etc are winners. They should double down.
Yep. The genie is out of the bottle.
These judges are out of control.
It really is getting out of hand. There’s bee. A few times lately they really step out of their jurisdiction
What’s the quote? “Judge Lasnik has made his decision. Now let him enforce it.”
We’ll just appoint a special investigator. I mean if that can overturn a presidential election, what can’t it do?
The best laws are the unenforceable kind! That way, we can pick someone up for some petty unrelated thing, then enforce those “unenforceable” laws all over his ass until he’s locked away forever! Yay!
I only have one thing to say. This bullshit where lefties believe that if they can only find an activist judge, somewhere in the country, who will make a ruling against something, that Congress and the SCOTUS must abide by it, has got to stop and it has to fucking stop NOW.
I like gifts…………..
thanks ZardoZ
ZARDOZ, I see the file contains no plans for a penis. Is this an intentional omission?
ZARDOZ SPEAKS TO YOU, HIS CHOSEN MIMING ONE. YES! THE PENIS IS EVIL! THE GUN IS GOOD. DO NOT MIX THEM UP. ZARDOZ HAS SPOKEN.
“intentional omission”
Internal emission.
Thanks ZARDOZ! You’re my very favorite giant murderous floating stone head!
So what kind of coin do I need to spend to get the right equipment to make firearms in my workshop? I figure I need a metal lathe and a press of some kind? Or a consumer CNC machine? What? If anyone has the knowledge and experience and wants to make a post, I’d love to read it.
A *friend* of mine made one using the Polymer 80 lower kit. To make that one all my friend needed was a drill press (use of which he borrowed from one of his friends) with an x-y cross slide vice and a hand drill. He said it was easy-peasy.
To do a metal one, I’d assume you’d need more equipment though. I know DD is going to sell a home 3-D printer called the GhostGunner that will take their plans and make you as many as you want.
Also, have these fucktard judges ever heard of the Streisand effect? 10 times more people are going to download the plans now than would have otherwise and interest in homemade guns is going to skyrocket. Fucking morons.
They already do. You can get it on Amazon.
That’s an interesting thing nobody is talking about. You don’t need to be legally able to acquire or possess a firearm to buy the Ghost Gunner, and they give you the gun files for free.
Same with a Polymer 80. It’s just a chunk of plastic as far as the ATF is concerned so you can buy it online. It’s technically illegal for a felon (or some other prohibited class of people) to transform it into a firearm, but again, if someone is intent on using such a gun to commit murder or some other heinous act, that stupid law isn’t going to stop him. Of course, that requires a lot more effort than just convincing your friend to do a straw purchase or buying under the table from the guy down the street.
Criminals gonna criminal, no matter how many laws they make.
“Straw purchase” will soon take on a new meaning.
http://omniyouthblog.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/straw-meme-200×300.jpg
Everyone knows that people only use 3D printers to make illegal or morally reprehensible stuff. Look it up, whats’ the 2 things most printed? Bongs and Dildos. Next up, scary black plastic guns with things that go up, and drinking straws. We need common sense 3D control.
I’m going to print me some grocery bags.
Gawd, I hope you print them with handles.
I’d also like the capability to print some incandescent light bulbs, gas can nozzles that actually work, psuedophedrene, extra leg room while flying coach, and a tank.
I like LED, so no need for incandescent. Ephedrine will make you into a stark raving serial killer, why do you think we had to almost ban it? Just know that your congress critter knows what’s best for you about everything, they’re experts! A tank, now I can go for that. Will really help in morning commute with the assholes who want to cut me off.
Also, I won’t fly coach anymore unless I can get the front seat right behind the first class section, so that I can stretch out some. It’s really unbearable for me anymore, especially if the flight is more than a couple hours.
Booze + sedatives are you friend.
/15.5 hour flight to New Delhi in coach
Sigh, not even copious amounts of booze or whatever will make me sleep on a flight.
…gas can nozzles that actually work…
The local recycling station lets you bring in old gas. You have to come back and get your can, which is stored on a shelf with a ton of others. Last time I was through there I asked the guy if anyone ever came back for the cans and he said almost never.
There were several old school metal cans on the shelf. If someone were so inclined, they could probably repalce all the useless modern ones.
I actually found a decent solution for the gas can problem a few months ago.
I think Jay Leno has a couple of very significant 3D printers in his garage, because there simply are no parts for some of his rare cars.
Tools from 1911 can’t be that expensive today
I have yet to do so but for an 80% aluminum, the relatively easy way is to do the milling with a router (I think the 1.25HP Dewalt is widely used) and a jig.
There are many jigs, some more advanced than others.
Jigs run from 100 to 300
Drill press comes in handy to drill holes for the selector switch and the trigger and hammer pins.

Techdirt focusing on the 1st Amendment reasons why the reporting on this is bad.
thanks. that’s a very good article.
Of all of the things you can make with 3d printers guns seems pretty far down on the list. How about car parts? Household items like lampshades, door knobs, etc. How about specialized screws and bolts? Dishes? The list is endless in the ways these things can make life easier and cheaper.
As for guns, get back to me when I can afford to buy a 3d printer that prints steel.
Ooops. I just looked it up. You can get such an animal for 5K.
Hmmmmm.
Of course, producing gun parts in the right alloys, temper etc makes a proper gun easier to make with a damned lathe.
Widespread 3d printing is the worst thing that could happen to Lego.
3D printing concrete houses
I saw that when it was published. I used to be involved with a charity that built concrete block houses (and dug wells and set up clinics and schools) in rural locations in India. They cost substantially less than $10k to build, otherwise, that would be a great use.
But, as with all technology, I expect the price will come down. The company itself is aiming for $4k.
Question – what happened to the frothing outrage over the kiddie concentration camps? That was the absolute rock bottom worst ever, right? Prompting two weeks of nonstop screeching about it…..and now almost nothing?
Gee, it’s almost as if it’s nothing more than kabuki.
What’s worse are the people who cant see that and buy into this shit.
What is funny is that none of the latest worse scandals ever involve Trump doing anything illegal or even out of the ordinary.
And what happened to the devil man who got nominated to the scotus?
He’s just a devil jurist
With evil on his mind;
Beware the devil jurist,
He’s gonna get you.
It wasn’t playing as well as they had hoped so they moved on. It’ll be something else in a few days, probably another gal Trump banged or something like that.
We should start a pool and see who can guess what the next outrage will be.
Paul Manafort’s ostrich jacket
That was yesterday.
I’m hoping for an Assange pardon, that’d really make the lefty heads explode (not holding my breath though).
He’s too unpopular amongst the warboner wing of the Repubs. I’m sure Trump has floated the idea but some consultant or pollster told him it would be a bad idea politically.
Preemptively pardoning Snowden might be possible?
I forgot about that one. We are all complicit in evil.
My little bit of The Big Sky has beige cast to it today. The fires in California.
I blame Gutenberg.

All hail Zardoz!
My little bit of The Big Sky has beige cast to it today. The fires in California.
It’s pretty hazy today.
Well, I thought about downloading them, but I’m too afraid my phone would be prone to falling into the river after they were downloaded.
SUE THEM ALL!
This is going to work out well. But only if the dems can figure out a way to make the Ninth Circus the highest court in the land.
If those cities are so sure oil is causing climate change, they should immediately outlaw every gas station and ban the sale of every single product containing petroleum within the city limits . Until they do so, there’s no way to interpret their actions other than a bullshit shake down.
Paint, plastic, medicines, fabrics, and a zillion other things are made from petroleum. These people have no idea what they are doing or saying. Ending the oil industry would literally be the end of the world as we know it. To suggest it is absurd. That, of course, is not what they really want. What they want is money.
They want money, and the power to make huge corporations grovel. They are worse than parasites.
And they want to control the proles’ lives.
Well, they are parasites, whose talents do not go beyond lying, scheming, and backstabbing their way to power. They are extremely jealous of people who have real talent and who have created wealth the old fashioned way, like inventing things that people want.
The whole “you didn’t build that” thing is the height of hubris for these assholes. I want their heads on stakes.
“I want their heads on stakes.”
That’s terrible. Surely, you mean pikes.
Including airports, cell phones, and pantyhose.
They want money but it is totally not a scam. The premises of their suits are beyond absurd. They are going to end up Muellering the scam. Sooner or later they are going to end up in court and when that happens the whole thing will be exposed. Discovery would be lots of fun.
This post is now living in the front page sidebar so you don’t have to actually bookmark the download link.
