As most of you know, this past weekend OMWC and I had a lovely dinner with A Leap at the Wheel and Pope Jimbo. During which I asked if they had any suggestions for this week’s poll.
Pope Jimbo’s response was, perhaps, predictable
.
However, Leap had a great suggestion, and so, I present this week’s poll with a big H/T to Leap!
How many friends have you lost due to your politics?
How many family members have stopped speaking to you due to your politics?
Do you have any suggestions for future GlibPolls? If yes, email to: poll at thiswebsite dot com
Discuss!
Those are fargin’ trick questions !
Now hit that mother-f’in THEME MUSIC !
And I meant to cite this .
How do I vote?
it’s 2 questions, put them here! Gawd!
“Pope Jimbo’s response was, perhaps, predictable”
You need to turn that into a track.
Hmm, How do we vote?
Did it not load the radio buttons for you?
not on PC Chrome, normal adblock off
They’re not on my phone or PC.
If it helps at all, on FireFox (56.0.2) the radio buttons are visible for a second as the page loads, but then it switches to showing the results. I was going to make a jump about STEVE SMITH leaching my internet, but it seems others have already informed you of the bug…
I’m not seeing either.
I’m on iPhone. Oh, yeah, shame me!
Not me. My main phone is an iPhone 8+, because of the camera.
(I also have my super secret burner Android, of course.)
If you don’t mind me asking, what is the best deal on an inexpensive phone? I’m not concerned about anonymity or internet. I just want a portable device I can leave somewhere. It can be prepaid if the minutes never expire, or bill me periodically. It just needs to be reliable, so it can make phone calls when I need it.
Moto G6 or even Huawei mate se. Depending on data needs check out mint mobile, unreal mobile, straight talk.
Just in case you are trouble-shooting this; I don’t see them either. Firefox. 62.0 (64bit) on Windows 10 Pro
It won’t let me vote either, whether on my PC (Firefox on Linux) or my phone (Chrome on Android).
I use Firefox on Android.
I have 2 friends, we don’t talk politics
I lost my entire Family to politics, My MIL and 1 BIL is all that’s left
Fuck Off, Slaver! I’ll think up something good to poll,
“I lost my entire Family to politics”
Sorry 🙁
There are radio buttons to the left of the questions. I could not see them on my iPad, but I could on my Android phone.
Hmmm, It’s exactly the same as last time when there seemed to be no glitches. *sigh*
the numbers keep updating though, Weird…
Presumably some people are getting the radio buttons and some aren’t.
Iphone 7s is working fine
Well, damnit.
the numbers keep changing, someone else’s poll?
No, but we have many users who are logged in, but lurk. So, they might vote, but not comment.
I thought everybody else was Tulpa.
No, that’s Bob
And, of course, I’m right in the middle of cooking dinner. 🙁
Massive fail, poll plug-in.
Feed the family first. We’ll hold down the fort. Where’s Q to run a poll for us?
Euphemism?
ass, tits, both, neither?
Q runs poles, not polls.
No sweat SP, it’s a great way for us to tell our Tales..
I had old army friends that I’d known for over 40 years, we’d been good friends, lost touch of one another, found them after I got a computer. We visited 1 friend in MT a couple times, he and his wife visited here once. Anyway, after Obama got elected I sent Charlie an Obama joke. He turned on me, called me a racist. He apparently forgot that my wife is Asian while his is a blue eyed blonde, told me never to talk to him again (and I haven’t). Other guy, New Jersey, was sleeping with Obama and the democrats, I kept reminding him I was an L but he kept up the bullshit and I had to drop him, haven’t missed him either. Fortunately I don’t have many friends and fewer relatives so can’t lose too many over politics.
Obama’s The Uniter legacy.
Imagine willing to lose a family member or friend for that shithead.
Some one’s voting….
Don’t talk to my niece anymore since she married a dude with a hammer and sickle neck tattoo. Our last conversation was her saying Voltaire was stupid.
But that’s like, her opinion, man.
I didn’t get to vote, but I’m getting thanked for my vote…
*wanders off to get drunk*
I dont get any buttons so I will answer here. I didn’t have any friends to lose. Lost one family member who is a lifelong pinko. Oh well. Bye.
I don’t see any questions or nothin’.
PS. I’m on Safari
Blind Safari would be a nice band name.
+6 Blind Men….
Not bad.
Oh… now I see questions
Well, I took out the auto tabulate plug-in and just left the questions. I think there is an incompatibility with a security feature that updated yesterday.
*sigh*
I even had Web Dom test the poll for me.
🙁
Time for a cocktail.
Enjoy the cocktail. Sipping a Lagunitas IPA morning n the Sacramento airport.
Morning? it’s 530 pm
Iphone typnig not gud
Maximus is good stuff, but most of there stuff is…..
Made sense to me.
You’re drunk.
Not yet. I wait until noon. Discipline is my motto.
Had one of my best friends from HS and college go all bay area prog on me. After calling me racist and sexist within an hour of one another for perfectly innocuous stuff, I was done. We hung out once or twice after that, but the last straw was when I deleted my Facebook (he works there).
One of my uncles is a legit commie. Moved to the UK for a while because of it. Moved back because he ran out of money and couldn’t hold a job. Has never worked a full-time job that I know of, but mommy and daddy keep bailing him out. They own his house right now.
Most of my friends (to the extent I have any) are through church, so they tend to be conservative, and usually not too socon, except maybe on drugs.
and usually not too socon, except maybe on drugs.
This is the recurring argument/discussion I have with my conservative parents.
I would like to a count of Names, I’ll bet a beer, Shipped, if it’s not Bob, We are Legion
/Bob
Answers are: zero and zero. I refuse to talk politics with friends or family.
A rare exception is one libertarianish brother in NH. And I have two (former) friends who know my politics mostly because under certain situations hanging out with them I tended to run at the mouth. My politics are not the reason they are former friends, however.
I do not talk politics with friends or acquaintances. Except here, and with the Founders, of course.
In some ways, it makes me feel much less close to people, because I don’t feel I can truly be myself. In the art circles in which I move (or did until recently, another long story), I never join in and people just assume I agree with them.
My family is mostly libertarian-ish, with a smattering of hard core conservatives, so that’s not a problem.
A friend of mine is an artist. I get the feeling that he’s got the standard lefty views, more from osmosis than true conviction, though. Whenever we talk, it’s about our personal and professional lives. Politics don’t come up.
I’ve never lost a friend because of my politics, their politics might be another story (and that I wasn’t a decent enough human being to blindly agree with them).
Now, the better question is how many teeth have been lost in family political discussions.
Time for a poll, my answer, None!
Trick question!
None of you has teeth!
I know I don’t, and I’m glad
/Toaster in progress
Same here, we grew up learning that politics was a civilized topic, even with my drunk uncle.
I try not to talk politics. Sometimes people won’t take no for an answer, so I tell them it’s all a giant wankfest. Usually does the trick.
” I didn’t vote, let alone vote for Trump, why do think that?”
/typical argument stopper
I had a meeting with a fellow artist on Monday who wanted to go there. I politely said that extremists and zealots on any side of any issue scare the crap out of me and changed the subject.
One of my best friends’ wife is a raging Hill-bot. Sometime before the election* I told her I don’t talk politics in social situations (we were in a biergarten celebrating my friend’s birthday). She went on blathering about Clinton. Have I mentioned I don’t particularly like my friend’s wife?
*I haven’t spoken with any of my circle of long-time friends since the election. Based on limited glances at FB I think I’ll give it a while longer.
Do you know who else celebrated in a biergarten?
Eva Braun?
Me.
After reading SF’s masterpiece today, I shall be reciting poetry in all political discussions from this point forward
Political person 1: So who did you vote for? Do you recycle? Do you believe in Global warming? When do you think they will they impeach Trump?
Me: Forsooth! Thou do talkest like a big fag!
And thyne schytte is alle fyck’ed upp.
Hmm, it was working and I think I voted but I signed in via the poll and it broke.
I answered: lost 1-5 friends due to politics and lost zero family because they aren’t morons like my Bernie Bro used to be friends.
My human friends are Florida Men so it’s meth and mayhem. Usually lose them in the same way that all Florida Men are lost.
To incarceration ?
Alligator attacks?
Transitions?
Whisked away in a hurricane?
Kidnapped and forced into slavery as a costumed character at The Happiest Place On Earth?
Peepee stuck in a fishing bow?
If nobody has blamed this on clear russian voting interference by now…you’re all lost to me.
I blame your new drinking habits on Russian voting interference,

Im only PRE-diabetic….so they say
My brother is a conservatarian, my aunt is a conservative – those are the only two relatives I speak about politics with. My best friend is conservative, and he’s the only friend I speak about politics with.
I have, luckily, a few sane people around me. My buddies tend to be pretty sharp and have an aunt and uncle who have been warning about this insane commie shit since the 1980s. They were seen as extremist but looking back, they’ve been prescient. Very smart. Especially my aunt. So well read and learned. My cousin is another independent thinker and one day he realized what I’ve been saying for years. So we have great talks. I’ve mentioned my hippie liberal sister but, again, way too smart (always in gifted programs in school like my wife) to be kept on any plantation. She always surprises me. A true liberal. Unlike these illiberal asshats like Chrystia Freeland. If you can bite your lip and watch this clip, you see how the illiberal mind functions:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDKDSqPuODk&t=1243s
I try to steer clear. You inevitably meet the ‘Trump is riding Obama’s economic success’ bot but sometimes it’s best to just let it go and hope the truth eventually prevails.
“I voted for the pothead.”
Me too. Only because a rapist wasn’t on the ballot.
I actually saw a “Gary Johnson for President” bumper sticker at the gas station the other day. It was on an old Chevy blazer that could not have been more dented or had a more home done rattle can paint job driven by a guy who had wild hair that had not seen a comb since the 80’s and jeans that were patched together in a way that was impressive in that new back pockets were added over some of the patches.
Well, the other choices were a reality TV star and a serial killer.
Zero. Am very diplomatic in person.
I don’t really delete people on social media because they have stupid opinions. In fact, I think it’s very important to know the latest bullshit arguments Democrats and Republicans are making. I have noticed that intelligent people tend to post least about politics.
“Am very diplomatic in person” So, not Tulpa, and definitely not Bob
/We are Legion
Never lost any friends or family to politics. I get in heated discussions with one buddy who is a semi lefty. Another friend I had to stop talking politics with because she can’t handle it. I’ve always thought it very strange that people can get that worked up about it. I have my beliefs and they are strong, and I’m willing to engage in argument about it, but I have the ability to keep that separate. It’s weird to me that many people cannot. It seems to me of the non libertarians that conservatives tend to be more tolerant of different political beliefs than progressives, but maybe that is just due to living in SF
That is not only in SF in my experience. Some progs are just intolerant asshats. Some aren’t. Some disowned me and others are like whatever and we remain life long friends.
Yup. Another reason I am glad most lefties have stopped calling themselves liberals and now go with progressives.
I take that stuff seriously but not personally. Too many people take it personally and seem too nuts to be taking it seriously.
Most of my immediate family are proggies. Nevertheless, I love them and refuse to talk politics with them. They are an amazing resource as I try to guide the Spawn through the political jungle, though. Interestingly there are a bunch of socons in the extended family that are equally as useful.
There are so many things to talk about other than politics. Music seems to be the best. Sports is a close second. My dad and I couldn’t last 5 minutes together in a political convo, but texted back and forth during the GB/Chicago game like a couple of chicks.
OT: If you like jangly guitar songs, Australian accents, and staying up till early in the morning, tune into “It’s A Jangle Out There” radio show. Here is the website with internet rafio links https://jangleoutthere.wordpress.com/about/
Here in LA, I tune in at midnight tonight. Great way to hear some new music.
Nice – I like all of those things.
Except staying up that late.
EDG, is there a podcast?
Nope. If you get the TuneIn Radio premium app, you can record the show and listen later.
The dj posts his playlist on his website, so you can pick through it on Spotify/soundcloud.
I’m kind of a nerd for live radio, so I tune in.
Even with the new gig?
Awesome!
Unfortunately 3am is bedtime for me…
Shoot-to-kill order issued for man-eating tiger in India
Indian courts have grappled with multiple so-called “man-eaters” in recent years, in cases that pit conservationists against villagers who fear for their lives.
Conservationists are full of shit. If the animal realizes that humans are pez-dispensers, they need to go down.
The conservationists should trade places with the villagers for a few weeks and see if it changes their minds.
Other people should die for my beliefs. Not me.
I have been stalked by a big cat. Not a tiger, a cougar. That shit will make your blood run cold. I am serious, that is some scary shit.
Damned right they would change their minds, if it was them. Other people? That is a different story. These are people that think there are too many humans…other than them.
A guy I know got mauled by a bear over the weekend. He’s alive but pretty fucked up. I get that it’s cool to have animals in their natural habitat, etc, but when the populations encroach, it’s time to cull.
Did you read David Baron’s “The Beast in the Garden”? It told about some people not as lucky as you were.
“How many friends have you lost due to your politics?
How many family members have stopped speaking to you due to your politics?”
No one in real life. A few people online who I had known for a very long time “unfriended” me over political arguments. All of them were progressives. I don’t ever recall a conservative ever even getting mad at me over weed, ass sex, and Mexicans.
I don’t talk politics with friends or family except for a few who can actually have a civil conversation.
I found one fellow libertarian at a former employer. We became friends first and both accidentally found out we were fellow libertarians. That must be over a decade ago… We still get together once a month for lunch since I switched employers.
Must be nice, I have never met a Libertarian in the Wild, but there are some conservos that come close, but won’t open the door, as it were
I’m in NYC. So I’m not sure how to analyze that. There are lots of people, so more chances of meeting a libertarian, but the place is overwhelmingly progressive.
Cuomo must be worried to bother pardoning all those parolees. Like the state isn’t shitty enough yet. I can’t wait to get out of here. It’d be bearable if Upstate could do it’s own thing. Probably still authoritarian as hell, but at least at bearable levels of taxation.
I’m bridge and tunnel. I live in NJ. And, as we all know, no better than NY.
Probably worse, honestly, but at the point we’re at, it is kind of a retard fight. No matter what, no one is going to win.
I think we may also be in a similar situation come 2019. You’ll lose your R governor, and I bet the State senate in NY swings democrat. All aboard the crazy train. (Not that NY and NJ Republicans are great, just that competition between gangs of thugs is better than none)
Same with Washington State East of the Cascades.
How many friends have you lost due to your politics?
None, but that has everything to do with my asocial tendencies, ie, you have to have friends in order to lose them.
How many family members have stopped speaking to you due to your politics?
Speaking only of my immediate family – none, but my family is annoyed with some of my libertarian stances. At family gatherings I often get on the soapbox about police corruption. They either 1) refuse to investigate certain stories, 2) trot out the old “sure, sometimes they make mistakes, nobody’s perfect” line, or 3) find the part in the story where the victim did SOMETHING wrong at some point, at which point the victim had it coming.
Two particular instances stand out in my mind, each with the same sister. The first was an NBA All-Star game some years ago where Colbie Callait performed a song before the event. She was wearing shorts that were a little short and she objected to the get-up. I responded, “What are you, a Muslim?”. She didn’t care for my remark.
The second was more recent. The show Blue Bloods came up, she enjoys it. I answered completely honestly: “It’s a good show. Granted, it strays into copaganda pretty often, but it’s good.” She didn’t like that term.
I don’t keep up with my extended family (again, asocial).

Did you guys hear the fascists got Norm MacDonald?
https://variety.com/2018/tv/news/norm-macdonald-tonight-show-cancel-metoo-1202937839/
Why did he apologize?
He’s Canadian, eh, Its genetic. Sorey if you thought he wouldn’t apologize.
Well, he does have a deal with Netflix. It’s possible they sent a Diversity Human Resource Goon to his house.
II wouldn’t say I lost any friends solely over politics, I’ve ‘unfriended’ an innumerbale number of people on facebook.
I did lose 1 friend, related to politics. I just didn’t feel that I knew the person anymore, and that was certainly a factor. She used to be super unPC and lots of fun to be around, we’d watch porn together and she’d always say I had shitty taste. Then we’d get drunk. I moved away for a few years and then it just never seemed the same. They also turned super duper liberal, apparently.
So yeah, lost 1 friend, or ~50% of my friends.
Libertarianism may be partially genetic. At least 2 of my uncles identify as libertarian (I only found out after I did myself) and my father is pretty damn close, though I think he would say he is conservative (But often says he doesn’t care what people do as long as they leave him out of it). My sister is kind close, my brother is idk what, probably a commie rat bastard, but the good kind who really doesn’t want a big government.
So, no one. Though I’m sure I could achieve it with some of my cousins if I tried. 😉
So, what I’m seeing, is We all Hate everyone and no one understands why
We are antisocial
We keep our families by keeping quiet
We have Few/no friends
We have Us though, so everyone is Happy
Not at all. We love way more than the average. We understand way more than most. We just choose to surround ourselves with people who deserve our love.
Simple.
You’re a cup half full kinda’ guy, aren’t you?
I keep my cup full, EDG.
But we’re not guaranteed tomorrow. I’m bored with grudges and sloppy thinking.
^This guy knows what he is talking about^
Yes. Life is super short and gone in a blink of an eye. I try to keep my focus on the important stuff.
He’s a Stanley Cup half full kinda guy.
Ouch. That hurts, man.
I didn’t mean it that way!
Lol. I know. I’m like the Browns fans. If my Wild ever won the Cup I’d be flummoxed.
That does answer my points you know
Few friends, most people are idiots
Family is uninformed, or has fingers in ears
Fucking people want to tell me how to live
I’m happy to be here, IRL people suck
That does answer my points you know
Doesn’t?
That’s true.
I’m trying to stay above it. You idiots give me strength.
I’m an idiot, but a nice idiot..
Me,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vSP1jO2Puc
I agree. I think it also has to do with above average intelligence. Vox Day pointed out how If you are one or 2 standard deviations in intelligence from another person, that even though you are both speaking the same language, i.e. english.,. That the other person literally doesn’t understand what you are saying.
For example when we (and I would admit that I am at the low end if the bell curve in these parts) bitch avout how taxes are economic redistribution backed by violence, I get the deer in the headlights looks.
And leaving shit like leaving people the fuck alone and taking responsibility for you own stupidity and that freedom is by its very nature are not popular ideas.
Freedom by it’s very nature is risky ….
Scary Freedom, RUN!!!!!
Re the poll. List my oldest friend during the elelection. He was going for Bernie and I was too in a Cloward-Piven sort of way.
He kept saying Trump was an idiot and I kept pointing out that he wasn’t. I.e. Trump beat a field of 17. That the reason that they would never find dirt on Trump is because the IRS has probably been sniffing up his ass forever. The final straw was the Battle of Berkley and I pointed out how it seemed that it was the left that always seemed to be violent. He responded, “well the right can’t have all the fun.”. I simply replied, “citation please?”. And his response was THAT WAS A FuCkING JokE.”. I asked for just a single incidence of violence from the right and never heard from him again .
For those Glibs that suffer the scourge of mosquitoes:
Buy one of these.
I was walking the dog and got eaten alive. Now I’m sitting on the deck with zero mosquitoes. Awesome product.
When in mosquito country, I try to keep my BAC close to 12%. The little pricks fly away in terror.
Bullshit. Minnesota mosquitoes just high-five and call in their buddies.
I used to live in Minnesota. There is the story of two mosquitoes who killed a guy who stayed outside after dark.
One mosquito says to the other “Should we pump him out here or take him back to the swamp?”
And the second one says, “Pump him out here. If we get him back to the swamp the big mosquitoes will take him away from us”.
I always keep my BAC at 12% keeps my brain quiet…..
Hm.
I went for a stroll with the wife & kid last week in the middle of the day. Had to stop to change the little one and we started getting eaten up. Used to be that they only came for you around dusk and dawn, these were super aggressive and seemed to be following us for another ~1/2mile. Killed a few, but damn.
I blame other countries, they have shitty mosquitoes and gave ’em to us. Can’t wait for the first frost to put a damper on this baloney.
What is this “mosquito”?
/city slicker
Non-sparkly vampire.
I am skeptical. I have tried everything imaginable. The only thing I have found that works is DEET. Before going in the woods I fill the bathtub with DEET and dunk myself. Worse than mosquitoes are the goddamned chiggers. They are bad down here. I forget how many species of mosquito we have but there is one for every day of the year and every environment. The worst is a big, black squishy one. They are usually found around animal wallows in the fall and they are super aggressive. A couple hundred of the bastards attack at once. They dont fuck around trying to sneak up on you, they just go straight for blood. It is like a bee attack. No matter how fast you swat you end up with bites all over your hands and face.
God, I hate parasites. If I had my wish I would spray the whole world with DDT and exterminate every single one of them.
If I ever find that genie lamp that is my wish #3 – exterminate to extinction ticks, fleas, mosquitos, red bugs, round worms and flatworms. And biting flies and gnats.
Fuck them all to hell. And I will get the leeches while I am at it.
Suthen, ours are ridiculous. When I hit the north woods, I practically guzzle Jungle Juice.
I’m serious, though. I have one of their 15×15 units and I haven’t been touched. They are pretty cheap too.
I know we have a reputation for mosquitoes down here and it is well deserved but I am also aware that the mosquitoes up your way are probably worse when they are in season. I guess they have a smaller window of opportunity and they try to make up for lost time.
My father had a colleague who dreamed of living in the wilds of Alaska. He had someone drop him off in the middle of nowhere and he was going to take a year to walk back. He didn’t show up in a year so they went looking for him. They found him about ten miles from where he was dropped. He had killed himself. His note said it was because of mosquitoes. That’s the story I was told.
Yikes!
Bed bugs, Possum, all flies and the feral cats the Lady across the street keep feeding, for years!
-30 takes care of that.
not in Cali Bro, that’s jail. i would get some traps from animal control, but we are out soon enough not to matter
Again, I’ll keep the Rattlers and Recluses, Chiggers and all those ‘squitos keep me out of the southeast, and the humidity,
I need to ask your advice on an AC …tomorrow when i am sober.
I’ll be around, lemme know, or get my Email from SP, that’s fine
You’d think they would target the obese since that is like a free all you can eat buffet.
Chiggers and prickly heat. Fuck Ft Polk.
Minnesota: Mosquitoes, ticks, horse flies, deer flies gnats and the elusive noseemum. Anyone who can live with what’s in Louisiana is damn tough.
Thank you! If this works, you’ve just redeemed yourself. 😉
Question 1 – 2 friends: 1 actually worked in the Obama White House (gag) and the other used to work at the Center for American Progress.
Question 2 – 0, though if I pressed the issue with my sister and BIL I’d probably lose them, at least until Trump is out of office.
I know you said to email the poll ideas, but I’ve got an idea that dovetails with an article I’m working on:
What is your favorite roadtrip/stretch of road?
I always liked 301 between Deleware and Richmond.
247 to Idylwild, Hwy 2, Angeles Crest Highway, Awesome HIGH Mountains, right next to L.A.
Highway 95, from Coeur d alene, Idaho to Boise.
Hwy 95, from I 40 to ZZyzzx ranch road, very Desolate
55 north from 44, east on the Bank-Lowman Road to Lowman. All the traffic on 55 is headed in the other direction and there’s almost no traffic as I head over to the cabin from Banks.
What is your favorite roadtrip/stretch of road?
The next one.
You don’t drive for a living do you?
Lol. Not for a living.
For fun!
After a Million miles on SoCal Freeways, I’m tired of it, but the 2 roads I mentioned are fun for rally racing style driving, I love that! and I’m sure you would dig them as well,
Rally racing is the coolest. I’m too fucking old, though. I will try to take those when I’m out your way.
As long as we’re still talking about it, another cool stretch of road is the Lamar Valley in Yellowstone. We saw wolves, bears, everything. Except tourists!
The one that takes me *dones glasses* to the danger zone.
Berkshires – HWY 7 Great Barrington to Stockbridge and Lenox.
I-80 between Omaha, NE and Evanston, WY.
61 from Duluth to Grand Portage is pretty amazing.
Haven’t done that one for a log time, need to go back
The Sapp Bros truck stops?
I like Interstate 40 going through the Rockies.
try 50 sometime, amazing road….
When I lived in Utah and had family in SoCal, I used to go down I-15 to LA all the time. Best stretch would be I-15 through the Virgin River Gorge (between St. George and Las Vegas).
I dunno about “favorite” but riding a big comfy bus up into the Alps south of Munich in winter on steep, twisty roads might be the most terrifying stretch of road I’ve ever experienced.
US 250 between I77 and Wheeling, after Tappan lake it’s just a bunch of twisty climbing roads up into the hills of southeast Ohio, yes Ohio had hills, and then you drop into Wheeling it’s like a two hour roller coaster ride. If they ever closed off that stretch and held a road rally/motorcycle race on it, it would be awesome.
Copper River Highway in Alaska between Cordova and the Million Dollar Bridge.
This is a man of taste and refinement.
Though I’d say Richardson Highway.
There’s so many:
US-50 across Nevada
89A Flagstaff to Sedona
I-70 across Colorado
US-550 Durango-Ouray
Also a man of taste and refinement.
State Route 46 between Nashville Indiana and Bloomington, IN. Always a lovely, curvy, seasonally beautiful ride. Drove the hell out of it one Christmas Eve, in the middle of a blizzard, high on 3 hits of LSD. It was…. beautiful….
It used to be US 1 between Miami and Key West, but the last time I drove it it was so crowded it was not enjoyable.

Answers to the poll. None and none.
You’d throw me in a rape cage for smoking marijuana or for refusing to pay for a stranger’s abortion? Cool, let’s play twister.
You can smoke pot in Japan? you can get pot in japan?
No. Just like to phrase it that way.

Though I’m opposed to it happening on principle, I can’t say I’d shed too many tears if they were trust-busted or nationalized and run into the ground. They are a force of evil.
Uh… Uh… Uh… Uhm.
Get this guy into fucking Toastmasters or something.
“low-information voters…” – it’s amazing to me that this is a phrase used almost exclusively by people who voted for Hillary Clinton. It’d be one thing if they were reluctant ‘lesser of two evil” types, but I get the feeling that it’s mostly ‘I’m With HER’ shirt wearing types. Maybe that’s my own prejudice.
Never lost anyone to politics. Everyone who actually knows me seems to actually respect my intellect. Sure my prog sister-in-law fights with me when we talk politics, but she usually comes to the conclusion that while I may be right I’m not right. (kinda like saying I’m technically correct, but she FEELS I’m wrong)
But remember, say something bad about Radical Islam and you’ll get banned from Twitter immediately.
https://farleftwatch.com/antifa-groups-are-using-twitter-and-facebook-to-advocate-for-the-assassination-of-president-trump/
Dorsey and Zuckerberg are pieces of shits.
Not to mention Brin and Page (see link above). Fuck Silicon Valley. Fuck social media. Fuck it all.
I’m gonna go live in a cabin and hunt my own food.*
*not really
As long as Google doesn’t lose its mind we’re okay for now even though they’ve been dicks too.
If YouTube is any indication, they already have.
How many family members have stopped speaking to you due to your politics?
Not nearly enough. They take my apathy as either an opening to gain a new convert so I get the full press (usually libs) or they assume I secretly agree with them so I get the wink, wink, nudge, nudge routine (usually cons)
Well, you are a tricky one to place. I’m not sure if you’re a libertarian or not, for example.
Not one to do labels, but based on his posts, I’m guessing an-cap.
(Am I right TH?)
I’m mostly just an asshole. (with strong an-cap/mini anarchy leanings, though I believe an-cap/and mini anarchy are practical impossibilities)
I don’t want to use the violence inherent in the system to make people do what it is that I think people should do, hell, I’m not entirely certain exactly what it is I think people should do anyway, other than not use the violence inherent in the system to make people do what you think people should do…and so on and so on… It’s what I consider Libertarianism and I’m willing to force you to agree if you think otherwise.
Thats a pretty good functional definition of minarchist-type libertariansm, imo. Now you are no longer an (international?) man of mystery to me.
international?
I don’t want it brag but I have skied the Eiger.
I don’t want to use the violence inherent in the system to make people do what it is that I think people should do
You could have offered the world.. ORDER!
(Other than ranting about get off my lawn stuff, I’m very skeptical than my iron fist of gentleness would make the world a better place either)
Yesterday I was with a friend and we were driving back, and passed the Trump golf course. So my friend is like, “oh, Trump. Look, the flag’s at half, so I guess it’s finally for McCain.” (you know, what NPR covered relentlessly a week ago). And I just pointed out, “uh, it’s 9/11, that’s why it’s at half.” “Oh, right.” And that was the end of that. But man, it gets tiring trying to gently point out how irrational some of these people are. A different friend of ours goes to some Lefty Reform synagogue and was all about how Trump was gonna throw Jews into cars or some shit, and I didn’t even want to engage with that one. If you’re so deluded into your hate as to actually believe that, there’s nothing to say, is there?
So I try to stay out of politics among my prog friends while occasionally trying to push a bit of sanity when I can.
He probably just meant that Trump was buying Jared and Ivanka a new fleet of limos.
It’s more likely that he believes that each Jew deserves their very own Borman.

Well, not now, but just you wait. The way things are trending, in ten years we’ll be an ethnostate. They’re great at predicting the future, but if you point out the coming fiscal disaster…Crickets.
I don’t have friends or family that are mentally deranged enough to determine relationships on politics, so…no one.
Lost pretty much all the close friends I made in college so about 5-6 friends, my 4 childhood friends are still all right with me (we never talk politics so that helps). Family, haven’t lost a single one. I have some disagreements from time to time with my mom and dad, but at the worst level we just get to agree to disagree and drop it. My dad’s chilled a bunch from neoconversatism much like myself so that’s been great too.
Neoconservatism*, boy English is hard.
Late to the party because I was out shooting, then came home and cleaned two pistols.
I have few close friends in the real world. We do not talk about politics.
I have hundreds of connections on facebook to people with common hobbies, I unfollow the ones that bring up politics in forums that nothing to do with politics.
I have a brother that moved back from California about two years ago. We talk about politics all the time. He is essentially libertarian even though he hasn’t declared it directly.
I don’t talk to anyone else in the family about politics.
The only real political discussion that I follow and participate in are here at Glibs. This place keeps me sane. I appreciate all you do to keep it up and running.
I haven’t lost any family, and my friends tend to be conservative to libertarian, so no problems there. I may have lost a few Facebook friends but I don’t keep track of that.
Friends lost: 1. A long time friend from school, we knew each other back when people with different opinions could have polite conversation about politics if they were both vulcans. Around the time of Furgeson, he lost his damn mind and turned into a Hooligan. Called me a Nazi, clarified he wasn’t speaking metaphorically, and said he will punch me the next chance he gets. It will be hard to explain how ridiculous this is without going all internet bad ass, but to get a sense for this guy’s martial prowess, do an image search for “neckbeard things.” He’s never thrown a punch in anger or in training in his life, but he does have a period-correct cloak that he wears for instead of a coat, two fedoras, and an arsenal of nerf weapons (but no real ones.)
I have a fair number of friends from all over the political spectrum that I maintain open communications with over politics. They are all vulcans too, and I’ve explicitly told each of them that I expect better out of them. For example, if they decide to publicly call me a racist, they better be willing to back it up physically, etc. In exchange, I’m always willing to privately listen to anyone who thinks that my actions are not in alignment with my ethics. Which is the way a polite society is supposed to fucking work.
I have a monthly reading group with some of them, which is very entertaining. We read something every month and then come together and discuss it, and we all know that our jobs are to steel-man our various ideological positions even if we don’t agree with them. Next month, we read The Law, which I expect to be a hoot for the libertarian communist (before you ask, that means he’s in love with the idea of free-will communes, but knows its Utopian so has settled on Scotch instead.)
And like all city dwellers, I have a wide swath of friends that are brainless progressives or generally-apolitical-but-vaguely-progressive. I don’t talk about shit with them politically. Arnold Kling’s Three Languages of Politics has been invaluable in helping me stay in stealth mode with them.
Family lost: 0
As far as family goes, I don’t talk about politics with anyone but my brother. My mom is a virtue signaling Oprah-watching Dem voter that’s ashamed of being super-racist (not reverse-racist, like she thinks black are genetically inferior to us) but not so ashamed to actually stop being super racists. My dad claims he hasn’t changed his political opinions since the 60, and that made him a hippie in the 70’s, a tea-party conservative in the late aughtys, and he’s been everywhere in between. Think Hunter S Thompson meets P. J. O’Rourke. If he knew how to use a computer, it wouldn’t surprise me if he had pepe memes in his browser history.
My brother is an actual technocrat that has held jobs in the government doing optimal policy analysis. He is now a sil-valley technocrat doing the same thing for big-data. We talk about policy a lot, but not politics per se. Ideas are a lot easier to get behind that politicians or parties and all that. When we talk, you can see every fiber in his body rebel when I say certain things like we should abolish public funding of higher education, but 1) I’ve been basically a father figure to him and he knows that I’m a good person, so he knows that I’m not out to deprive poor people life food and shelter for shits and giggles. This quote from Bastiat comes up quite a bit. And 2) even though he has a PhD in this area and I’ve never studied it in an academic setting, he knows that there are aspects of what he does that I know better than him. I used to edit his papers back when he was publishing, and I took a *phenomenal* amount of delight in providing comments like “why don’t you reference public choice theory here?” or “you need to demonstrate systematic incentives for bureaucrats that would lead them to take this risk, and you have not done so.”
I’m not sure this would help. When I explain that the state is the greatest oppressor of history I’m not sure I’m fooling anyone as to my political leanings.
Great quote. I should probably read that book at some point…
Free and online.
https://mises.org/library/law
You can read The Law in one shit. You should.
Kling
I haven’t read it, but it looks interesting.
Its a phenomenal book that absolutely has changed the way I look at communications in political tribes, but Trump really throws a monkey wrench in this model. If you prefer podcasts, the Econtalk with Kling about this book will give you 85% of what the book gives you.
On campus, I assume everyone is a liberal until proven otherwise. The socialist and antifa groups seem to have a lot of posters around campus. I’ve had Russian professors who said they were suprised that socialism is popular here and not taboo.
Haven’t lost any friends or family members. I avoid talking politics in person. My family and my wife’s family range from old-school union Democrats to hardcore progs, and when they start ranting about Drumpf and the Rethugglinazis at family gatherings I try to just focus on my drink and not roll my eyes too much.
If someone forces me into a political conversation, I try my best to concern-troll.
There’s really no point in arguing with people on social media, since the people who post the latest stupid political meme are just social signaling, they’re not really interested in any discussion.
I hate that term. It may be deceptive, but I don’t really think of it as trolling, unless you’re purposefully trying to upset or offend.
I lost one prog internet friend. We’d been friends about 10 years. She knew my religion, knew my politics, then one day when we were in an argument about something else, she ginned up something she accused me of believing and cut me off.
The other friend was a tea party evangelist living in Hawaii and feeling embattled. Our friendship was souring before we split (not over politics), but when I informed her that her side wanted just as much control as the other side, just wanted to control different things, that tore it.
My most prog family member understands she married into a conservative family, but I’m the buffer between the orthodox conservatives and progland. I can speak her language and she understands when I point out that progs thinking people like my family are evil Nazi deplorables is how you get more Trump.
I don’t talk about politics with folks at church. The oldsters tend to discuss things in services that are tone-deaf and have no place in church, and I am quick to jump in and say something like “That’s not relevant to the lesson.”
Otherwise, if I don’t want to discuss politics, I say, “I voted for the pothead,” which shuts down the conversation. Nobody quite knows what to do with that information and folks on both sides are all too willing to get out of a suddenly awkward moment.
I used to have Christian friends that would tell me I’m gonna burn in hell. Then we’d go and have some beers. Lately, they don’t do that, but we still have beers.
Either you’re no longer hell-bound or they figure they’ll be sharing your bunk.
They got a taste of what it’s like being the odd man out (bake that cake) and it miraculously changed their attitude.
That doesn’t mean they don’t think you’re going to burn in hell, but the beer is more important.
I’d call that progress.
“she ginned up something she accused me of believing and cut me off”
Basically, same thing happened to me. I got cut off for something I didn’t actually say. Progressives have this tendency to straw man anyone else’s position into something worse. Like the above Bastiat quote.
It’s bewildering and crazy-making. That’s what children do.
There are a fair number of acquaintances ic’ve lost because of politics, but I’m not an overly social person so that didn’t bother me. I did lose one close, longstanding friend because I refused to boycott Chick-Fil-A. She has always been a lefty but that was never an issue until, of course, in recent years leftists feel the need to make everything in their lives a political statement. I’m sorry she went in that direction, but if that’s how she wants to be then she is no longer someone I want to associate with.
There are some lefties in the family, but none of them are hysterical loonies. We all get along just fine and talk about other things than politics.
No friends lost, at least, nobody close enough who’d made their displeasure known; no family, either. In fact, I discovered that my brother in law is a big fan of Trump. He’s a UC postdoc and someone I’d have assumed would be at least a default Hillbot, but no, he’s all in for the guy. So much so he’s persuaded my sister, who is in fact a pretty generic low-info Dem.
I suppose if I pushed the issue (and were myself more of a Trump guy), I’d probably hate to quit talking to mom. She was BDS way before Trump came about.
^have to quit talking
Boycott, divest, sanction?
Bondage, dominance, sadism?
Blonde, Dutch sluts?
I like the last choice best.
I have lost any one but I’m young and don’t have social media. My best friend is a fellow anarchist. It’s fun to discuss political and moral philosophy with him. This site let’s me know that we’re not the only sane people on this world.
You assume We are Sane? you Sanity Shitlord, thinking you’re sane, knock it off!
I have 5~10 friends and hundreds of acquaintances who think I am their friend. Nope. Real friends don’t put a gun at peaceful people’s heads.
5 is optimum, if you can keep them for a while
The state endlessly screwing people over means I have a never ending pool of new recruits to choose from.
The government is a legalized mafia. Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner. Why bother trying to explain these concepts to someone who thinks it’s for your own good to be coerced into these activities.
Frank can Kill it every time! Damn.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tbP3f3i03E
I’m not sure what happened there, but I ended up in a deep dive on old comedy. Jerry Seinfeld on Leno and Robin Williams first gig on Carson. Social media would destroy them for those routines today.
And so can this guy, Perfect!

Only one who has ever unfriended me.
High school friend of the wife is a cop-sucker.
Pointing out that a ‘cool’ cop car that had some kind of holographic like paint on it that made it hard to ID as a cop car was for one purpose only…raising revenue, not enhancing public safety was apparently the last straw.
That’s not to say that I’m not welcome in his house, or he in ours.
Three of my wife’s family members have probably been tempted. One in particular (a private school teacher…K-3rd) was not happy that on Presidents Day when she was talking about how admirable Lincoln was that I mentioned a few of the crimes he committed in office that somehow get left out of standard high school US history classes.
Hey Yusef, I might have some good career advice for you. may or may not be what you want. It will be good advice, though. Dunno if the big shots here can get you to my e-mail or not, but if they dont, lemme know here and I’ll get back to you. Not to be presumptuous, but it seems like you’re kinda in flux lately.
Btw, I have shed some friends lately, but it’s more from personal growth, rather than tds. I do have a max prog friend and he gets extremely agro about all politics. He was pissed that I voted for the big, stoned Johnson, because he thought that was what caused the wicked witch to lose. He sometimes looks quizzical, when I out logic him, but then recovers and insinuates that I’m a racist or bigot or something. It’s hilarious really. He’s a big weed smoker, and very enthused about new regulations ensuring higher quality pot. At least until I remind him that for decades he’s been buying quality weed and the only tim it was tainted was intentionally by the government (paraquat). Then he changes the subject very quickly. It’s always good for a laugh.
i
All well and good, until the paraquat= shit weed thing, Pot is way better, higher quality, controlled for pests, and pesticides, and Indica is the same price now as it was in 1980. You can buy higher quality but 10/Gram shit is as good or better than ever
Yeah, but the only time, ever, that weed has been tampered with, or unsafe at all, has been because it was poisoned BY the government. Now, my friend is happy that the same government is going to be regulating it. The government who is solely responsible for the only large scale tampering ever to affect pot in history. Thank god their going to make sure it’s safe for us, amirite?

/Welcome!
I think I’ve “lost” exactly one friend because of politics. It was an old high school friend I reconnected with online fifteen-some-odd years after having parted ways following graduation. He was constantly posting cloth rending rants on FB about how shitty capitalism is and that Bernie was going to save us all from having to ever work or pay for anything ever again. I got tired of reading it, so I disconnected. He noticed a few days later and sent a huffy message asking what happened. I never replied because I’m a dick.
Other than this, I tend to steer clear of any political discussions because I’m conflict averse. Everyone in my family knows of my leanings and share a mutual respect. My in-laws are the only exception and breach this protocol regularly because they’re rabid leftists who would wither away and die if they suddenly discovered they could no longer talk about politics. They seem to revel in goading me into arguments and cling to a sincere belief they will someday win one of them. I never understood this. I particularly enjoyed one conversation when my exasperated MIL lamented, “Oh, Michael. We love you so much. If only you were more liberal,” to which I replied, “I’m more liberal than you.” Her reaction was what I imagine seeing the very last star in the sky go out might look like.

Q, i have a lot of videos on YT are you suggesting I delete them? or upload them to Bitchute? Razorfist and Sargon have gone there, should we maybe prop the site up and see?
i have over 10k on YT, maybe they will come over, it seems like a lot of work, but, principles?
I dunno Yusef, it’s up to you. I know it represents a lot of hard work; migrating my email was hard enough. Migrating YT would be a lot of work. You just have to follow your own conscience.
Assuming I have a conscious, that’s nice, Quaint, but nice, thanks
Is it possible to use an Android phone without a Gmail account? I’m not willing to pay hundreds of dollars for a phone so I’m staying with Android for now.
You can use all of the basic built-in functions (phone, text, browser, etc), but you won’t be able to install anything from the app store. The only way to get apps without an account would be to download them from the Internet (sketchiness potential – high) and side-load them.
Samsung has an app store if you buy one, it’s Ok
You can make Android work (mostly) without much if any Google integration.
Its not for your average user though as it requires some technical knowledge, a compatible android phone, and a willingness to be slightly inconvenienced.
Now that I think of it, this sounds like it has guest post potential.
How to break up with Google.
Indeed, this.
Can’t see any buttons for the poll. I’ve lost a few friends. Am probably in danger of losing another (this one would actually hurt, as he’s been a kind of spiritual wingman for me for over a quarter century). However, he just phoned us recently and told us that he’s been diagnosed as clinically depressed, and he seems damned sheepish about a lot of stuff that’s transpired between us, so who knows?
I’ve had very few friends in my life, and a lot of acquaintances. So losing some doesn’t seem to faze me much.
I’ve mostly lost one good childhood friend due to politics. We haven’t cut off all communication, but rarely if ever talk anymore. He’s known my Libertarian beliefs since the mid 90’s, but after he got married and moved to NYC he progged out big time. The Trump election put him over the edge, and he vowed to never visit the Midwest again because racism. I’ve converted most of my good friends from childhood to Libertarianish views, but a few are still pretty hard-core lefties. Some of my favorite debates are with the lefty friends. They can debate without making it or taking it personal. Ironically it was an older hippy leftist friend who convinced me to get a good liberal arts education, which led to my Libertarian views.
I’ve lost zero immediate family members or close extended family members to politics. I’ve stopped talking to quite a few commie cousins due to politics, but never really liked any of them anyways.
Earlier tonight I was looking at the editorial calendar and remarking to myself how many regular contributing writers we now have who generously share their creative output with the community.
To give them all a little more recognition, I created a new Contributing Writers page.
It’s linked from the About Us page, as well in the website footer.
Oh, I also should point out since nobody seems to have noticed it, I added a downloads page up top and in the footer a couple weeks ago.
Lack is at 0 posts, oops?
I haven’t gotten everything switched over from Guest Contributor to author bios yet. And he has two more in progress.
i knew he Had something up, Props SP, but you knew that 😉

What’s become of Derpetologist and Vhyrus? I have seen a post from either of them in ages.
Yeah, I’m wondering where they’ve gone, too.
/Chafed, great minds (and all that).
Go on.
And let’s not forget Gojira. His movie reviews and off the wall ratings system made me laugh out loud.
Exactly who/what I was thinking of, prepositions be damned.
Derpy said he was going to be unavailable for a while (deployed?). Vhyrus and a couple others hang out on Discord apparently, whatever that is.
That rings a bell about the Derpmaster. I have no idea why Vhyrus abandoned ship.
Damn, just when you get used to a site…
I kinda figured that Derpy was going to be deployed/whatever-the proper-term-is, but it seems to have snuck up on me.
Wow! I’m amazed at the post count of some of the contributors.
/amazement of a freeloader
CPRM needs to post more, I know he has more to say, he’s just a lazy bastard.
That sorry, magnificent, sonofabitch!
That just goes without saying.
I haven’t lost any friends or family over politics. I keep my mouth shut, but most of them know generally what I think and are scared or polite enough to keep their political thoughts to themselves around me.
My politics are probably too right-wing for half the people here, but you folks are polite and tolerant. Probably you got that way from being smart with experience in the real world.
Anyway, I can most easily talk to my 92-year-old Mom who grew up with 8 siblings with Norwegian immigrant parents on a middle-of-nowhere midwest farm during the depression. Stuff was real for those folks.
My immigrant BIL is headed down the Alzheimer’s path and losing his filters. He’s gone from conventional liberal to conservative, verging on Trump fandom, much to the dismay of our circle of Pacific Northwest of lefty friends. He’s starting to say stuff that I always suspected he thought but had to keep bottled up. He’s by no means loud or irrational about it, but he does make ’em squirm.
Something liberating about losing your mind.
When you say you’re “too right wing” I’m interested to hear what you mean by that since everyone seems to have a different notion of the Left-Right political spectrum. I’ve always found it to be rather arbitrary with some “traditionally Right” positions seeming conspicuously out of place and vice versa. For instance, the “Right” as understood in the US, at least contemporaneously, gives more lip service to self-ownership than the “Left”, yet still embraces drug prohibition.
I gave up on the L-R spectrum in a formal sense a while ago, though I tend to find people who self-identify as “Right” to have more in common with me. I have always felt, even from childhood when I first started understanding these things that people who called themselves “liberal” or “Left” held rather sinister (no pun intended) views. I’m to the point now where I think you either believe in self-ownership, or you don’t. Basically all libertarian precepts (which do, in most cases, seem to align with “Right” views) can be deduced from that basic principle.
I do see an irreconcilable schism, that I suppose was always there but is become more prominent, forming between “Left” and “Right”. I don’t see how there can ever be common ground with a group whose primary goal is enslaving me. Therefore, I’m willing to take on allies of convenience in the “Right” out of self-preservation (unless and until they seize the reigns of power and start a project of enslaving me in other ways that is).
Basically I just want to be left alone .
A lot of “get off my lawn” types at glibs. Not me. I love talking to people and having conversations. If they aren’t brainwashed drones, anyone can tell you something interesting. The left is so fucking lockstep today, that I find nothing interesting in what most of them are saying. I’m not conservative in my personal life, but I can talk to them.
I don’t have a lawn, I have Desert plants, so GET OFF THEM!
and clean your little POS Dog’s Shit off my Bark Mulch Bitch!
I’m with you on the left-right thing. I could never figure out what this meant in college. I took some political philosophy classes and just considered myself a liberal, but I could never quite align myself with left or right. It took me about 4 years after college to finally unfuck my brain from some of the shit I was taught and finally settle on libertarian / classical liberal. I was bi-curious and played around with the two main parties for a few years. I thought I was a Clinton democrat in 92 and a Gingrinch Revolution guy in 94 before I realized both parties sucked balls.
From about 88 (senior in HS) to 94 I read several editorial pages a day, and cut out and saved all the ones I thought were interesting or agreed with the author. I had a box with thousands of editorials. Years later, I went back and started reading through them. It turns out I still agreed with a majority of them and I was a libertarian all along, but didn’t know it. I consider this period of my life “the fog” in relation to my political and world views. It wasn’t until I started reading Ayn Rand and Reason that everything started becoming clearer in my mind.
The Fountainhead at 19 (1982) and I went wha?
I converted my brother, sister, and several friends to libertarianish views by turning them onto that book. I used to donate classroom sets to schools through the Ayn Rand Institute, so I’ve probably converted some youngsters into shitlords over the years too.
Same age here. Atlas Shrugged moved my needle. Anatomy of the State ripped it out of my arm.
The older I get, the less i want to interact with people, I’ve always been antiSocial, don’t do crowds. The internet has given me a voice, as it were, and I love it here, no Crowds

Since I’m responding to other post….
I don’t know of any relations I have lost due to politics.
That said, my bestest bud has pretty much disappeared from my life over the last 3-5 years. It is, ostensibly, due to him and his wife trying to get a service-industry business started (focusing on that, continuing to work for others in the meantime, and all that frustration). However, while I don’t consider it “political”, I can’t help but think that he’s made some social changes in his life, and that he probably sees me as too socially conservative to attempt to stay connected.
We never really talked politics that I can remember, so it seems more about social circles/interest than anything. In the absence of any explanation…well, satisfactory explanation, though, it has the same kind of vibe that a politics breach can have.
Well, your here now, Celebration!’

Got up an hour ago but just turned on the teevee. Good news! The storm is downgraded to a category 2. Thank God. Maybe we can weather this out without anyone dying.
Yeah, and hopefully it won’t loiter over the same area for days like they were predicting a couple of days ago.
Hey, since the WaPo thinks Trump is responsible for Hurricane Florence, maybe he should take credit for it weakening?
I got drunk and then fell asleep last night…
Here’s my answers to the poll:
Actual friends? Zero
Family? Zero
Friends: 3
Family: 2
All proggies, conservatives don’t seem to take disagreement so personally.
