For the NO -TB game
The moneyline is a straight bet. Pick the team you think will win.
For this game the moneyline is NO -500 meaning if you choose NO you’d have to bet 500 to win 100.
If you choose TB you’d have to bet 100 to win 500.
The O/U is 49.5 . That the total score for the game, pick over or under.
The spread is NO -10. Meaning NO is favored to win. If you bet NO you’re giving 10 pts to TB. To win NO needs to score 11 more points than TB
The opposite would be to take TB +10 . With that TB could lose the game but you’d still win if TB loses by no more than 9.
I should point out that the “+” moneyline in this case is a guess. They are not normally the opposite.
The moneyline tells you where the money is going (in this case NO) Vegas/bookies try to get as close to 50/50
as possible.

Actually, what the National Review story glosses over is that the woman was convicted, not of simple possession, but of felony possession with intent to deliver. The story also does not mention that in addition to the pistol, she was also in possession of a .20 gauge shotgun, a .22 caliber pistol and a bolt action rifle. I fully expect that the outcome of this case will be a conviction on the gun charges and a suspended sentence. To ignore the situation would be to say that the gun laws are meaningless. That is a valid political position for the people writing here, but the solution for prosecutors operating in the real world cannot be to ignore the law that is in place.
