Many thanks to those of you have donated to make this happen.
That… was… AWESOME!
I love the Diet Cokes! Great work
That is just all kinds of awesome! Excellent work!
Well…. fuck.
In a good way, of course.
Ich bin erstaunt!
This is awesome!
Good work. I hope to see many more.
100% CPRM, folks. He did a great job.
*bows before the master*
Don’t do that! It gives him ideas.
If he had half a brain (or The Hair actually advising him), The Donald would make you official Presidential animator-in-residence. Because I’d vote for that trio in a heartbeat.
Awesome.
Perfection, truly.
Do an SF hentai story next.
*coughs*
*Throws tandoori chicken in the trash*
I’m thinking this, but with Hillary and Huma.
*SF
*hentai
Either this is a crass redundancy, or some sort of horrible Lovecraftian monstrosity has risen, twisting the laws of reality.
Some of it is merely ecchi.
Congratulations on this, CPRM. Glad you got your animation software. I can’t view this now but am saving it for tonight.
Would you be interested in doing some illustrations (stills, not animations) for my Glibening stories? Email me if so.
We need our own cryptocurrency for all these requests.
“Glibcoin”
It’s been talked about enough. I want an ICO 6 months from now.
We don’t mine our currency, we go spelunking for it IYKWIM.
STEVE SMITH WILL BE COMPTROLLER!
WHEN STEVE SMITH MINE CRYPTOCURRENCY, HIM GO DEEP!
We don’t mine it, our orphans do!
Thiccoin?
I could get behind that.
That was great, CPRM! I hope you have more in you.
AND BY MORE IN YOU…
OT: Just heard Robert Kuttner blame the rise of Hitler on laissez-faire capitalism on NPR.
*rageface*
I thought it was Commies,
The More You Know…..
He’s arguing for European taxrates and social welfare policy, because that’s obviously working so well for them.
Amazingly, the idiot has never heard of Otto Von Bismark and his policies apparently
Didn’t you get the memo? Anything involving free markets, individual liberty and self ownership = Nazi alt-right racism
Anything involving collectivism, bureaucratic administrative rule-by-fiat and state ownership of commerce = benevolent, compassionate Utopia
https://www.npr.org/2018/03/01/590076949/depth-of-russian-politicians-cultivation-of-nra-ties-revealed
The same NPR that thinks the NRA is some kind of front for Russia?
Yeah, those people are not mentally well
There is no position too outrageous for Terry Gross as long as it is anti-Trump or anti-GOP in general.
I see all of the lefty sites have taken down their comments section. It must get tiresome having people laugh at you and tell you to fuck off so I cant blame them
Awesome! Glad it all came together!
The malevolent, lurking presence of the Hair…..spine chilling
And the Hat sounds like Beavis. I love it!
Oh, and Cookie Monster wants Britons to not carry knives. I only wish I were kidding.
I’m such a Coward
I must really be a giant coward because I carry a knife and a gun.
And a hockey stick sometimes.
“Only cowards carry”
Because nothing says bravery like being defenselessly gutted like a fish in the street.
Well, they did write a song extolling just such a thing
You started this whole ball’o’wax. Thanks sir.
It’s not a parody ridiculing Airshit One?
Ok then. “C is for corpse, which is good enough for me.” -UK authorities.
CPRM, the Robert Smigel of glibs. Excellent!
Awesome job, CPRM! *applause*
The cosmotarian influence continues. A “Libertarian” running against Dave Brat.
http://www.richmond.com/news/virginia/government-politics/besides-democrats-rep-dave-brat-faces-libertarian-challenger-in-november/article_d039c20d-a5af-5c5a-9283-875eda420b4b.html?utm_source=RTD%20Email
“Walton said he considers himself in the political middle and considered running as an independent or libertarian for Congress. He consulted with Bo Brown, chairman of the Libertarian Party of Virginia, and longtime Libertarian activist and former candidate Bill Redpath.”
So not an actual libertarian.
“On policy issues, he said, he thinks defense spending has grown out of proportion to the country’s needs, supports abortion rights, and is a gun owner who would support tighter background checks to keep guns away from those who would do harm to others.”
Ah one of those “Ron Wyden” libertarians.
I am going to go ahead and say that gun rights are the absolute litmus test for a libertarian candidate. If you’re not openly, unabashedly, and completely pro Second Amendment, you’re not a libertarian. There’s no libertarian case against gun rights.
What about the 3rd Amendment? or the FYTW Clause?
I’m half convinced that these “libertarian” primary challengers are funded by Democrats.
For the most part, I’ve come to the conclusion that most of the public face of ‘libertarianism’ is just controlled opposition. KMW pretty much admitted as much in her article about the firing of Kevin Williamson.
“I have personally been the beneficiary of this doublethink on ideological diversity for years. When institutions recognize the need to have a nonliberal somewhere in their midst, they look across the landscape and discover that the closest thing to conservatism that they can tolerate is a relatively mild-mannered, young(ish), female, pro-choice libertarian. Which is to say, not a conservative at all.”
I like KMW and a lot of the people at CATO and such, but they are controlled opposition. They don’t challenge the establishment or the narrative. Obviously, the Mises people are a different story, as they even frighten the conservative establishment.
I mostly agree with your assessment about the role Cato/Reason/etc. play in the DC game
but i don’t think that’s what KMW was actually saying there. she was just pointing out that “actual conservatives” like Williamson are in the wilderness, politically, while moderate libertarians inadvertantly benefit from the intolerance of liberal institutions.
she wasn’t saying, “isn’t this a sweet scam”? and suggesting that faking it is highly-profitable… she’s just admitting that people like her are considered ‘fringe’ by the mainstream, while she’s perfectly aware that she’s not fringe at all.
Only half convinced?
It’s truly Sarwark’s LP now.
“I am going to go ahead and say that gun rights are the absolute litmus test for a libertarian candidate. If you’re not openly, unabashedly, and completely pro Second Amendment, you’re not a libertarian.”
You realize, of course, that the LP has nominated gun controllers. They had BILL WELD on the presidential ticket. They will sellout on the 2nd Amendment just like they sold out on the religious liberty clause of the 1st Amendment. It will be harder and it will take longer for them to sellout on the 2nd Amendment, obviously because so many people who identify as libertarian are strong supporters of the 2nd Amendment. But they will sellout on the position.
Gun rights are my single “issue voter” issue. Besides my immediate interests in it, it’s a catch-all issue that touches on a lot of other important rights and ideas about government. Someone who believes in an absolute individual right to self-defense believes that individual liberty is paramount. Someone who understands that government prohibitions trade real harm to individuals to prevent theoretical harm to “society” is going to think twice before advocating for the regulation or prohibition of anything else. If you support the second amendment as written, you’re probably an originalist with regard to the rest of the Constitution as well. Libertarians, small-government conservatives, and classical liberals have to support the second amendment because it’s wrapped up in the ideas of liberty, individualism, and self-sufficiency; those are the same reasons that Progressives, Fascists, and authoritarians of all stripes have to be against it.
“Gun rights are my single “issue voter” issue.”
Ditto. It tells me everything I need to know about how that candidate is going to lean on everything else. It tells me what they think of me.
Same here. People who support gun rights see us as citizens. People who do not, think we are subjects.
Excellent work. Very tremendous. The best.
As I said before, this is really excellent. You nailed the voices for Hat and Hair and the animation is perfect. Looking forward to more episodes.
Mad props, CPRM. Great stuff. I promise to pitch in on your next Glibstarter..
Awesome.
And… two hat and hairs in one day! I wasn’t even going to drink another beer and now I have an excuse. Thanks, SF!
Bigly done, sir.
