The cake you never knew you needed

Tonight’s Product You Need comes from Nadia’s Cakes in Maple Grove, Minnesota.

This gorgeous geode cake is…well…obviously a vagina.

It really is supposed to be a geode cake, not a vagina.

Abby, their social media manager, has said: “Guys, have you seen the mad skills of our cake design team? If we made a vagina cake, you wouldn’t be saying ‘OMG, that cake is a vagina.’ You’d be saying ‘That vagina is a CAKE?!’”

But she has even begun using quote marks when she refers to the “geode cake.”

    If they served this at the White House, Trump would grab it.

      That one looks like it would bite back.

      Just sent you an open note on the other post. I responded to your Friday Night post this morning. Not sure how we missed each other last night. We are in Room 4803 at the Park Hyatt until Thursday – feel free to leave a message.

        Thanks RH. I was in the lobby from 6:55 till 7:15 or so. I was with another tall white guy. Held up a copy up The Moon is a Harsh Mistress. Some wedding pics were being taken so I didn’t wanna make a big fuss.

          We feel really bad and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. My husband (also a tall white guy) and I were at the entrance and probably let you walk right by us since you clearly new where you were going!

            Hardly your fault. Hope you had a good night anyways. Also, the observation deck at the Tokyo Metropolitan building right next door is open until 10pm, so you may want to check it out.

            I just discovered that I was the one who made the mistake. I was at the Hyatt Regency. I’m really sorry about that. Should have double checked.

    Hey! Right down the street!

    *orders cooter cake for Pope Jimbo’s birthday party*

    1. SP

      First thing I said to her: “That was a custom order for either Tundra or Pope Jimbo.”

      I think the ambiguity is deliberate. If someone asked me what color a vanilla buttercream geode cake would be, I’d think pale yellow/cream, not dusty pink.

    Rock Candy huh. Ouch. STEVE SMITH can have that one. Looks more like the Vikings broken heart anyway.

    1. x=y-1
      y=-4x+21
      y=-4(y-1)+21
      y=-4y+4+21
      y=-4y+25
      y=25-4y
      5y=25
      y=5
      x=5-1
      x=4

      1. y=x+1

        x+1=21-4x

        5x=20

        x= 4.

      We’ve entered a time when A/V can’t be relied up as news or testimony.
      Official sites will become the only way to verify announcements and policies.

      As corroboration, I suppose A/V remains suitable,
      but only in the cases where eye witness testimony already sealed the case,
      so, to a large degree, it’s worthless.

        We have the technology to deal with these kinds of fakes via digital signatures and trust mechanisms, but the technology will need to be seamless and idiot-proof enough to be usable with a viewer who is motivated to ignore the warnings and only operate the software one handed.

          Still up. It’s the only way I ever see this hour. Or the sunrise, come to that.
